Drilling Waste Treating by Non-landing Technology

2 Drilling waste treating non-landing target processing technology theory

The basic theory of “drilling waste treating non-landing target processing technology” is attenuation, flocculation and separation into three parts drilling cuttings, mud clay and fluid. That’s to say, through watering and flocculation separation and chemical reaction processing to let the drilling cuttings and mud clay reaching to discharge standard. The harmful elements and chloride ion is analyzed into water, and then formed into mud clay by vac-sorb or extrusion as well as realized useful fluid recovery. The whole craft contains three processing units.
The first processing unit: complete collecting drilling waste mud and fluid. First separating the rocks and cuttings from the collected mud thorough sand-water separation-washing-agitating equipment for agitating washing and spiral separation to release or reduce the influence of such kinds of material to subsequent processing and keep the mud in good mobility. The mud after processing is pumped into the sludge storage agitator tank with certain treating agent. After agitating and mixing, the waste mud is pumped into the second processing unit.
The second processing unit: mud and water separation. By adopting chemical treatment and multi agitating and washing to separate mud and fluid, and make the pollution material in the mud go into fluid. If there is oil pollutant in the waste fluid, it is necessary to treat by degreasing unit to recover the grease. The discharged solid can be pilled up or for paving road. The separated fluid goes into water tank for collection, and then discharged into the third processing unit.
The third processing unit: waste water processing. The fluid is with much suspended solids after centrifugal separation. It can adopt flotation sedimentation and filtration system to move it out. And then goes into reverse osmosis system for concentration treatment. The treated waste water goes into recovery water tank and is pumped into self processing system for recycling or into the recycling mud. The concentration fluid can be reused by adopting evaporative crystallization processing technology for industrial production.

Mono Screw Pump Working Principle and Apllication

M ono screw pump , also called  sewage pump  or  progressive cavity pump ,  belongs to the rotor type positive displacement pump .   M ono screw pump  is depend ing  on the screw meshing with liner on the discharge and suction cavity to conveying liquid volume change.   It is a kind of method of pressurized screw pump, a main working parts by bushing has a double helix cavity (stator) and the stator cavity and its meshing singlehead screw screw (rotor).   When the input shaft through the universal joint drive making planets revolving around the center of the stator, rotor stator, rotor, vice is continuous mesh form sealed cavity, the seal chamber volume invariably uniform axial movement, the medium from the suction end of deputy to the stator, rotor pressure side, the suction medium sealed cavity through the stator without stirring and destruction. M ono screw pump  is an ideal pump used to feed drilling fluids to decanter centrifuge. Since mud is evenly pushed to pro

Water Based Mud Drilling Cuttings Management

In  geotechnical engineering ,   drilling fluid is used to aid the drilling of  boreholes   into the earth , o ften used while drilling  oil  and  natural gas  wells and on exploration drilling rigs , and  also for much simpler boreholes  like   water wells . Liquid drilling fluid is often called drilling mud. The three main categories of drilling fluids are water-based mud (which can be dispersed and non-dispersed), non-aqueous mud, usually called oil-based mud, and gaseous drilling fluid, in which a wide range of  gases  can be used. The main functions of drilling fluids include :  providing  hydrostatic pressure  to prevent  formation fluids  from entering into the well bore, keeping the  drill bit  cool and clean during drilling, carrying out drill cuttings, and suspending the drill cuttings while drilling is paused and when the drilling assembly is brought in and out of the hole. The drilling fluid used for a particular job is selected to avoid formation damage  and to limi

Drilling Waste Management Approach and Method

Drilling waste management is a hot topic these years with global attention to environmental protection, especially in O il & gas industry. Drilling waste management  into environment without any treatment is strictly forbidden. So before disposal, a series methods must be introduced to treat the cuttings and make it reach to disposal standard. Drill ing   waste   is  produced as the rock is broken by the drill bit advancing through the rock or soil; the cuttings are usually carried to the surface by  drilling fluid  circulating up from the drill bit   by  rotary ,  percussion , or auger methods. The drill ing waste  is commonly examined to make a record (a  well log ) of the subsurface materials penetrated at various depths. In the oil and gas industry, this is often called a  mud log .   One drilling method that does not produce drill ing   waste  is  core drilling , which instead produces solid cylinders of rock or soil.   In cable-tool drilling, the drilling waste  i
