Submersible Slurry Pump in Solids Control System

Submersible slurry pump is used in drilling fluid solids control system to pump the thick liquid, thick oil, oil residue, dirty fluid, mud and fluid which contains clay sand slag and corrosive fluid. Submersible slurry pump produced by KOSUN Machinery has the advantages of high efficiency, maintenance free, high temperature resistance, long service life and so on.

KOSUN LSP Series Submersible slurry pump is mainly used in environmental protection, new type building materials, coal washing, municipal works, thermal power generation, coal gas coking planet, refinery, mining, paper making, cement plant, food products factory and other fields to pump thick oil, oil residue, dirty oil, mud, mortar, running sand and other liquids. Or used to pump liquid containing silt materials and corrosive liquids in chemical and medicine industry.

Submersible slurry pump is with structure of vertical single stage and single suction overhung centrifugal pump. The impeller is semi-open type, equipped with paddle wheel in the impeller suction side extension place. Vertical machine is installed on the motor cabinet, and connected with the pump by coupler. Submerged part of the pump shaft has enough rigidity, there is no bearing and gland seal between the impeller and pump body, it can transport the medium with high concentration particles. The length of pump inserts submerged is 800mm~2500mm, and can be equipped with suction pipe if needed.

KOSUN LSP Series Submersible slurry pump features:
1. The pump shaft under the liquid level has enough rigidity. No bearing is between impeller and pump. Shaft seal is no adopted, and medium with dense solids can also be transported.
2. The length of pump shaft below the liquid level is within 800-2500mm,and the pump can be equipped with a suction pipe if necessary.
3. Excellent performance for thick fluid conveying.
4. Vertical motor is installed on the motor base and connected to the pump by coupling.

Mono Screw Pump Working Principle and Apllication

M ono screw pump , also called  sewage pump  or  progressive cavity pump ,  belongs to the rotor type positive displacement pump .   M ono screw pump  is depend ing  on the screw meshing with liner on the discharge and suction cavity to conveying liquid volume change.   It is a kind of method of pressurized screw pump, a main working parts by bushing has a double helix cavity (stator) and the stator cavity and its meshing singlehead screw screw (rotor).   When the input shaft through the universal joint drive making planets revolving around the center of the stator, rotor stator, rotor, vice is continuous mesh form sealed cavity, the seal chamber volume invariably uniform axial movement, the medium from the suction end of deputy to the stator, rotor pressure side, the suction medium sealed cavity through the stator without stirring and destruction. M ono screw pump  is an ideal pump used to feed drilling fluids to ...

Water Based Mud Drilling Cuttings Management

In  geotechnical engineering ,   drilling fluid is used to aid the drilling of  boreholes   into the earth , o ften used while drilling  oil  and  natural gas  wells and on exploration drilling rigs , and  also for much simpler boreholes  like   water wells . Liquid drilling fluid is often called drilling mud. The three main categories of drilling fluids are water-based mud (which can be dispersed and non-dispersed), non-aqueous mud, usually called oil-based mud, and gaseous drilling fluid, in which a wide range of  gases  can be used. The main functions of drilling fluids include :  providing  hydrostatic pressure  to prevent  formation fluids  from entering into the well bore, keeping the  drill bit  cool and clean during drilling, carrying out drill cuttings, and suspending the drill cuttings while drilling is paused and when the drilling assembly is brought in and out...

Drill Cuttings Separation by Shale Shakers

Drilling mud is pumped from the surface through the hollow drill string, exits through nozzles in the drill bit, and returns to the surface through the annular space between the drill string and the walls of the hole.  Drilling fluid is used to control subsurface pressures, lubricate the drill bit, stabilize the well bore, and carry the cuttings to the surface, among other functions. As the drill bit grinds rocks into drill cuttings, these cuttings become entrained in the mud flow and are carried to the surface. In order to return the mud to the mud circulating system and to make the solids easier to handle, the drill cuttings must be separated from the mud. The first step in drill cuttings separation  from the mud involves circulating the mixture of mud and cuttings over vibrating screens called shale shakers. The mud passes through the screens and is circulated back to the mud tanks from which mud is withdrawn for pumping downhole. The d...
